Interested in helping out in the classroom, on a field trip, other school sponsored events? Take the time to become an approved SMCPS volunteer – it’s free, easy and is a one time deal! It is an easy online application, but does take a couple weeks to get approved.
If you were approved last year (even at another SMCPS school) then you are automatically approved for this year as well. If not, then you can go to the following link to start the approval process which normally takes approximately 2 weeks.

Volunteer Orientation at Leonardtown Elementary on October 4 at 10am – Meet the new LES Volunteer Coordinator, Mrs. Stephanie Thomson, to discuss volunteer needs at LES. Coffee and pastries will be provided. If you are not already a registered volunteer, no worries still come and sign up while you are here. We need volunteers to support students in the classroom, PTA events, field trips, after school programs, and so much more.
